I will show you my first practice in writing task. Anyone, please feel free to give comments and suggestions to make my understanding and practice in writing better.


WRITING TASK 1
You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. The charts below show the results of a survey of adult education. The first chart shows the reasons why adults decide to study. The pie chart shows how people think the costs of adult education should be shared. Write a report for a university lecturer, describing the information shown below.

You should write at least 150 words.


Answer
There is two charts show about the result of survey about adult education.

The bar chart shows the reasons why adults decide to study. It is evident from the cart that most reason they decide to study was because they interested in subject.

About 40 per cent adults chose interest in subject as their reason to study. The next most reason why adults decide to study was to gain their qualifications, which was chosen by 38 % of them.

Those reasons was higher than other five reasons. As 22% adults thought that study would helpful for current job. Another reason which also related to job, to improve prospects of promotion, was chosen by 20% of participant. Another 20% proportion fell within option ‘enjoy learning or studying’. It was higher than two remaining reasons. There was 12% of participant decide to study because they want to get chance to change jobs, while another 12 % wished to meet people.

On the other side, the pie chart illustrates how the cost of adult education should be shared. At first glance, it is clear that individual become the main purpose for the shared of cost of adult education.

Shared to the employer accounted for 35 %, while another objective for the cost shared to was to taxpayer, at 25%.
